Final Reflection
Healthy Living, Physical Activities, Healthy Relationships and Making the Right Choices to stay away from Drugs and Alcohol are all Healthy Choices of Living. During the teen years of 13-19, healthy living can be a challenge, stress, anxiety, no exercise, not eating healthy, being peer pressured into drugs, alcohol and sex which could lead to STIs and also being in harmful relationships with others. Another problem has been privacy, everything is online and is seen by everyone to share, download and comment. There is little personal privacy now for people nowadays, digital footprints are all around you online that shows where you have been and where others have been online. This can cause cyber bullying that brings along physical bullying and brings stress and anxiety to the victim. Bullying usually is considered a game to the bully and they just have the desire to scare, hurt or intimidate their victim. This is the cause of an abusive or harmful relationship. It is important to have healthy relationships with others to have a safe and friendly community/environment for everyone. Many relationships can turn into harmful relationships, for example, being in a group with your friends or peers can be good to become active and to have fun, but it can turn bad IF drugs and alcohol are brought out, peer pressure is a very bad thing as someone might try to force drugs and alcohol onto you by peer pressure, try to steer away from drugs and alcohol as it can bring down your healthy lifestyle A LOT, it can give you MANY health problems that will be a BIG problem. Peer pressure can lead you to making the wrong choice that will change your life so you must remember to steer clear of drugs and a unhealthy lifestyle. Healthy Living also impacts your life because if you aren't healthy, your life span will be shortened significantly if you don't stay healthy especially during the teen years, eating junk food or processed food can be a slow poison that will ruin your life, vegetables and more natural healthy foods can help you live longer and have a more comfortable life. Sleep is also a vital thing to stay Healthy because your body needs rest and if you stay up all night, your body will be too strained to work and will cause some health problems later on if it continues. Lastly, living a healthy life also means steering clear of viruses, especially STIs and STDs, when you grow a bit older, you might have sex, so IF you do, remember protection, viruses are more likely to infect you at a younger age when you are careless. Condoms can reduce the risk of STIs and can also be a birth control, it can reduce the risk of both but isn't a 100% guarantee. Try to live a healthy life by doing the following and you can slowly become more healthy and have a happy and safe life. You can try to be more balanced in your life with excercise and by having a social, emotional, spiritual life.
